Theme Summary
As the name suggests, Newsy is a 3- Column WordPress theme that allows you to develop News/ Editorial/ Blog sites with various advertising display options. This theme comes packed with 11 different layout options for pages plus 4 additional customizable page layouts. These layouts are- one sidebar with one column, one sidebar with 2 columns or 3 columns, one sidebar or two sidebar and content as list view, 2 sidebars and 2 columns, left sidebar 2 column or thumb list, no sidebar- two column thumb or 2 column or 3 columns or 4 columns or large image or list view and left sidebar with 3 columns.
The sidebar at left or right can further be divided into 2 columns to display more information. Along with all this there are 10 color variant skins that comes packed with this theme. It also provide two sliders, one for header and one for footer. It is integrated with lightbox effects for gallery. This theme provides space reserved for ad Banner-horizontal banner in the header (468 x 60px), big rectangle banner on the wide sidebar (300 x 250px), skyscapper on the narrow sidebar (120 x 600px).
Further footer have choice for 4 column widget areas. Some other important features are- threaded comments, custom menu builder, custom footer text, multi-level dropdown menus, each page has appropriate pagination and last but not the least it provides support for child theme as well.

One of my friend want to start his own blogging website, suggested me to use this for his website, when I see this theme I really like it all homepage look which has many features on the homepage like related post slider, sidebar, light box effect, multi-level drop down menus, pagination for posts. I am impressed with all that features.
Really this theme is best for the Personally blogging website…..
